Minneapolis native Abbey Holden is a fine artist known for her serene landscape paintings and playful textile designs. She fell in love with color and design at a young age (by way of her interior designer mother) through immersing herself in fabric samples and color swatches. Abbey went on to study Studio Art, Art History and Design Management in Denver, CO Florence, ITL and the Parsons School of Design, NY. She is constantly refining her eye for color and design, and hopes to bring about a sense of peace and reflection to her current work. Abbey paints and designs textiles full-time in her Wayzata, MN and Minneapolis, MN studios using a unique blend of oil paints and mediums that are completely non-toxic and natural — allowing her work to be created from the highest quality materials while also remaining safe. Her work has found homes throughout the United States both residentially and commercially. She also calls the quiet, lakeside town of Wayzata her home, from which she gains constant inspiration.
